Pregnancy Yoga Registration Information for Classes or One to Ones.
Many thanks for taking the time to fill out this form. As your YogaBirth teacher I aim to give guidance and adaptations on movement within the Yoga class for any health issue as long as I am informed beforehand. When I am planning the class I can tailor the class and take your issues into account. If you could text me on 07896 047 660 about any emerging issues the day before your class, or on the day of your class, or email drjones@paradiseclinic.co.uk If you are unable to contact me don't worry, just come along to the class and mention to me (privately if you want) at the beginning. Usually we go around the class and ask how everyone is at the beginning but you are under no pressure to say anything about your health to everyone if you don't want too.
I tend to teach progressively, generally starting with the adaptations to Yoga poses and postures so you can enjoy the class. As your pregnancy progresses you can always do Pregnancy Yoga using a chair if necessary, or if one week you are unable to get on to the floor. You can do Pregnancy Yoga Classes right up until you give Birth and Post Natal Yoga is available after the Birth too safely help your abdominal muscles back into shape. Baby comes too!
Just come along and see what you can do even if it is just for some time out!
Kind Regards
Melanie Dr Melanie Jones PhD.
P.s. Please mention to your midwife that you are doing Pregnancy Yoga or having any of the treatments in the list at Paradise Clinic at your next appointment so that they are in the therapeutic loop!
The YogaBirth teacher training course that your Teacher will follow has been given approval by The Royal College of Midwives.
